G. R. Evans & Co. Butchers was established in Corwen back in 1938 by Gwilym and Gwyneth Evans since then the business relocated to Queen’s Shop in 1980 and  has since established itself as a reputable butchers, delicatessen and frozen food shop where beef, lamb and pork is sourced locally and killed in their own premises. They also sell a range of our freshly made meat pies, lasagne, quiche, cottage pie and coleslaw as well as cheese, pate, eggs, yogurt. Chilly Cow – Hufen Ia Cymraeg – Welsh Ice Cream lovingly make award winning artisan ice cream using fresh milk from our own  herd of Brown Swiss cows on their farm near Ruthin.  The farm has been owned by family for over 40 years and is nestled in the foothills of the Clywdian Range. They offer individual pots at 120ml for a quick Chilly Cow fix or a larger 500ml family pot to take home…. if it makes it that far!!  They supply lots of local and regional businesses with their udderly luxurious ice cream and the number of stockists is growing nearly as fast as the grass the cows eat!… You can find your nearest stockist on the website.

The village Sweet shop in Rhuddlan has  something very special up their sleeves again this year with their special Elf deliveries. Speedy, Marmalade and all the mischievous elves are back, they will visit you for  around 20 mins, and everyone young and old will love getting involved in all the fun one of these Elves will bring this Christmas. They will leave you with a magic gift with treats to make your Christmas extra magical. Visits cost £40 with the exception of Christmas Eve where visits will cost £50.
