At the moment if you live in Wales you can go on holiday in Wales. So we thought we would share  some  holiday accommodation providers in North East Wales that offer all kinds of different holiday experiences,  depending on whether you want to escape, grab some adventure or isolation or retreat into luxury with some hot tubs to boot.

In Llandegla Faraway Follies offers an unique and individual getaway, you can tell by the names of each space from Owl Lodge  to The Doghouse and  Copse camp which sleeps  6 and is built in a treehouse. Despite the outdoor names they are very comfortable and cosy and offer something just a little bit different from your average holiday accommodation. This is how Margaret one of the owners welcomes you “ this will be an ace break for you … soooo peaceful chillin in your own Hot Tub … cosy curl ups by your own wood burning fire … no alarm wake ups … and much more to enjoy …seeeeee you with a huge virtual hug”

Cae Gwyn Cottages in Tremeirchion sits  in  the stunning Vale of Clwyd.  Cae Gwyn (pronounced kye g’win) a beautiful Georgian country house and a group of characterful stone and slate farm buildings which have a luxury feel to them.  On offer is The Creamery, The hideaway or The Bothy.  They all have hot tubs and beautiful views across the rolling hills.

The Forge in Corwen which we have featured before offers an off grid experience.  Jamie and Sheena who founded the Forge were living busy stressful lives in London when they decided to return to the North Wales roots to escape the rat race and bring up their children in a rural setting. Since founding their business they have gone from strength to strength offering sleeping accommodation in beautiful vintage Bell tents and gypsy caravans. They also offer bush craft activities and campfire activities for those of you, who want to give Ray Mears a run for his money.   So if you’re looking for a break with an element of adventure why not give the Forge a try?

You can read more about how the Gypsy caravan came to Blue Bell Corner in their blog.
