Walking in North Wales is one of the best ways to experience the stunning landscape. With our walking festivals you can make sure that you see this landscape and don’t miss out on the history!
Prestatyn Walking Festival
May 18th – 20th
With the yearly walking festival in Prestatyn you can really get a flavour of our coastline and experience a day at a Welsh seaside. With walks that are designed for dog walks and accessible to wheelchairs, it is entirely open for all abilities and all walks are tied into the Routes to the Sea theme (so you can have an ice cream at the end as a reward!)
Wrexham Walking Festival
June 10th – 16th
Explore our area of outstanding natural beauty and lose yourself in our countryside. With the Wrexham Walking Festival you can explore our corner of North Wales and experience the rural air in your lungs. With 7 days of FREE walks exploring the Dee Valley and the Clwydian Range this is one festival you don’t want to forget your camera.
Corwen Walking Festival
September 1st – 2nd
From walks around Corwen itself, finding out about the history of the town, to a high level ridge walk along the Berwyn reaching over 800 metres in height, the Corwen Walking Festival has it all. We are offering guided walks on both days and you have the choice of a full day walk or, with some of the shorter walks, doing one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
