Rhyl Seaquarium, Rhyl

Eagles Meadow Centre, Wrexham
For a full day of entertainment why not visit Eagles Meadow. Here you can do some shopping with then UK’s largest brands stores, get the latest Wrexham FC football kit as a souvenir or see it as a base for exploring Wrexham Town Centre. But with bowling, arcades, cinemas and a whole host of restaurants you will be sure to find a great day out in Wrexham.

Visit North Wales’ No.1 Science Discovery Centre in Glyndwr University and get involved in over 65 hands-on Exhibits, Games and Puzzles. Peak their curiosity and blow their minds with some great science facts and experiments which might spark an interest within them for science, we know it will pop up a few questions from your little ones so make sure you have revised your science GCSE’s.
Wet weather water-sports
Make a splash in North East Wales with some active water-sports…..your going to get wet anyway so the rain won’t make any difference. Wales is the land of the historic and many of our sites are the perfect getaway from the rain of Wales. Take a trip to a Pentonville Prison at Ruthin Gaol and see what it was like in Victorian Times. Or see the seven ages of a Timber Framed house at Nantclwyd y Dre in Ruthin and explore the stunningly restored Lord’s Garden at the back of the house. Or travel to the stunning house of Plas Newydd and learn about the Ladies of Llangollen and their fascinating story whilst exploring the magical Dell forest.
